A Documentary Film Project
On November 4th Americans elected Barack Obama as the President of the United States: the first black president. It is a historic day in America. Perhaps nowhere is it more historic then in Harlem, the capital of black America. This film is a portrait of Harlem on this day. From a great-grandmother who came up from the South when voting was not an option to an 18 year-old casting his first vote - the film will capture the richness of the Harlem experience on this day.
