The Wheatfield was created to honor the 150th anniversary of The Battle of Gettysburg. The story of James Jackson Purman reflects the fortitude, courage, and compassion displayed by so many during a time that tried men's souls, and is dedicated to all the men who fought there, both the Blue and the Grey. The Wheatfield received its premiere on the 150th Anniversary of the Battle for the Gettysburg Foundation. This short, animated film was written and narrated by Stephen Lang, directed by Alexander Smith and produced by Jake Boritt.
